One common theme with work truck, trailer, and van builds is this:

Everyone makes changes after a major build.

Sometimes, these are major changes, sometimes, they're minor.

Large builds can take 2-3 weeks, depending on what you're working on.

So, consider doing lots of small experiments instead of making huge changes all at once. Try to build in modularity and removability. Spend your cash on cheap versions of things, then upgrade once you find something makes you faster or more efficient.
