Trade Salaries

When it comes to gettin' paid, location matters. Most online resources tell you the highest paying trades based on national averages - they don't take state-level differences into account. Below are some of the best (and worst!) paying trade jobs based on state.

We've compiled data from the US Department of Labor to show you where your pay ranks in the US and how it compares with surrounding states. Data is from 2020 and will be updated in Spring of 2022. Does not include data from people that are self-employed! OR the pay of owners of small businesses! Employees only.

Things are a little clunky right now, but we're updating how this works AND adding more data to compare trades to each other.
