ABOUT THE ORGANIZER

Everything HVACR

Louisville, KY USA

This Chevy Express is upfit for commercial HVAC service work in Lousiville, KY.

2 Toolbags

The operator says that he uses only two toolbags: a Veto Pro Pac LC that holds some hand tools and a Veto Pro Pac MB-2. The MB-2 is small and minimal, but it's the bag he usually brings on the jobsite.

Backpacks are heavy! Plenty of techs that have previouly used a backpack for their tools are moving to a lightweight, minimal bag. will dedicate many small bags to different tasks.

Tools that get used regularly are vertically mounted on the rear of the shelf units at the rear cargo doors.

Bulkhead Bins

Steel Weather Guard bins mounted on the bulkhead hold batteries, copper fittings, and many fuses.

A Veto Pro Pac KP-XL is not something we see too often. This wall-mount tool organizer has 19 pockets, including one for a propane/MAPP bottle (secured with velcro).

This organizer holds some liquids, large hand tools, and sheetmetal tools. Mounting it is easy and it's easy to see and grab the contents of the pockets.

Tanks Everywhere

This truck has a lot of tanks:

One rack near the cargo door holds refrigerant. A milk crate on the floor of the truck holds some spare nitrogen, CO2, oxygen, and acetylene tanks.

Tanks of 410A, One Shot, and R22 are on the floor by the bins. Another group of refrigerants - R134, R22, 410, and 404 - are on the tank rack at the rear of the truck

Got Spools?

Mounted at the top of the passenger cargo door is a rack for spools of material. You'll find vinyl tubing, small diameter aircraft cable, control wire, and some other types of typical wires - easy to pull off the rack.
