Tip #4: Use scalloped handles on drawers instead of hardware.

It's easy to make some recessed cuts in a plywood drawer face to use as a pull handle.

You might think it's great to save a little cash by not using hardware, but there's an even better feature:

The lack of protruding hardware means that you get a couple inches more cargo width. Also, if you're transporting something that can get damaged, no hardware sticks out to grab your cargo while loading/unloading.
