A big piece of PVC pipe is ideal for carrying long lengths of material.
If you mount it low (not on your top rack or roof), it'll be easier to feed and retrieve pipe, allthread, and other long materials, especially if you use them frequently.
Don't have enough space?
Poke the pipe through your bulkhead, and extend it into the rear cargo door's window or panel cavity.
