Tip #15: Use identical builds so anyone can find anything.

If you run a fleet of vehicles and they're all set up the same way you can save a significant amount of time by building them out identically.

This tip is about saving time, money, and frustration.

Everyone wants to be an individual and set up their truck their own special way. But you can be more efficient if you set up your truck just like the other people you work with.

When you end up on the same job site together, you'll already know what's in each other's trucks, and where those tools and parts are.

There are some efficiency principles you can use to do a buildout that will be universal, even if they take getting used to.

This doesn't work for everyone: a service truck won't be built like an installation truck. You might never see inside the truck of a fellow worker. You might not trust someone else to return your tools. Service trucks that work in different parts of the same city might carry different parts!

But it'll work for a lot of businesses.
