Tip #34: Mount floppy things like extension cords, air hoses, and coveralls on the doors.

We think this tip works best when you've got a smaller truck or trailer setup and you don't use a reel to manage hoses and cords.

So:

If you frequently remove and retrieve bulky, loose things like extension cords and air hoses, think about mounting them on the door of your truck or trailer.

Crawling or crouching in your truck while retrieving items that are floppy is pretty frustrating. If you're working in a small space, these things may also catch on other things in your truck.

Mounting them on the door keeps them accessible, mostly out of the way, and won't frustrate you when you need to get them or put them away.

You can also mount these items right inside the doors for similar effect.
