ORGANIZATION
Alex is an organized dude!
He is an HVAC tech in New York that mostly handles commercial HVAC and refrigeration. His Youtube channel has a lot of serious, down and dirty HVAC work and troubleshooting. Check it out!
The best way to describe Alex's van setup is neat and tight. The truck is clearly used for work, it has a lot of tools and inventory, but he keeps things in order.
A lot of work truck tours are right after the owner has cleaned the truck. But this truck has some junk on the floor that'll make you think he just showed up and that it's always this organized.

The Cab/office
The cab of his Dodge Ram Promaster 1500 is set up like someone that's been doing this a long time. Invoices, receipts, and other papers are neatly organized in the center file cabinet and some other file holders.
He's got his phone, an iPhone, an FM transmitter, chargers, and a bluetooth headset for handling phone calls, directions, and charging his office peripherals.
He carries a set of walkie talkies because sometimes he works in places that don't have a cell signal.
Back
There are no fancy organizers here, just steel shelves, plastic bins, and some Husky boxes.
Most of his unwieldy stuff, like extra clothing and spare hose/tube are mounted on the rear door. The materials on both doors are bungied to keep them from flopping around when he opens up the back.
Extension cords, 5/8" hose, and ropes also hang off right near the back of the van, which makes them easier to hang without dragging them along the shelves and floor if they were further inside.
He hauls 7 tanks of refrigerant on racks right at the back door.
Inside
This isn't something called out that much, but Alex specifically keeps a couple pieces of paper in the truck to keep track of inventory. Since they're clipped on at eye level in the back, he can note something on the spot.
The steel shelves in the Dodge are packed with parts. He dedicates sections to heating, refrigeration, tape, screws, brazing, glue, chemicals, electrical, pneumatic parts, and lots more.
He dedicates an empty space between shelves just to belts. Since he carries a variety of belts and it's impossible to see what they are at a glance, he keeps track of what he has and what he needs on a clipped-on piece of paper.
Wire spools hang on a piece of pipe. He can easily unspool a short section or pull off a spool to take on to the jobsite.
He mounts a 6' ladder to the ceiling of the truck with a DIY bracket and a bungie cord. He says it works, but he's looking for something different.
Side Door
At the side cargo door he keeps his Veto service bag and recovery tanks on a rack. Some pouches with 1/4" and 5/16" screws are right at the door so that he doesn't need to climb in the van to grab them.
